Schedule & complete inspection
Schedule the property inspection, manage appointment slots, and mark the inspection complete.
After a vendor accepts, the next milestone is the property inspection. The vendor schedules an appointment (moving the order to Inspection Scheduled14), performs it, and marks it done (Inspection Completed15).
Scheduling the inspection
Inspections are scheduled against available appointment slots. The vendor typically drives this, and operations can schedule on their behalf when needed.
| Action | Endpoint |
|---|---|
| List available slots | |
| Schedule the inspection (vendor) | |
| Schedule the inspection (client/ops) | |
| Select a specific slot |
Once a slot is selected, the scheduled date/time is stamped on the order, it moves to Inspection Scheduled14, and the client and borrower are notified.
Borrower-facing scheduling links
Some inspection scheduling is done by the borrower through a tokenized link (useful when the borrower picks a time that works for them). These token endpoints validate the link and accept the borrower's choice:
| Action | Endpoint |
|---|---|
| Validate a scheduling link | |
| Submit the borrower's slot |
Borrower scheduling links are single-purpose tokens tied to one order. Treat them like any other sensitive link — they're validated server-side before any action is allowed.
Completing the inspection
After the site visit, the inspection is marked complete, moving the order to Inspection Completed15.
| Action | Endpoint |
|---|---|
| Mark complete (vendor) | |
| Mark complete (client/ops) |
What's next
With the inspection complete, the vendor researches comps, writes the report, and uploads it for review.
